Friday 17th Sep 2004 : The Big Day Arrives
17th - 21st Sep 2004 : In The Hospital
Monday 21st Sep 2004 : Going Home

Tuesday 21st September 2004: Anne and Rylan came home yesterday afternoon. Anne is doing far better than she was 4 days after having Foster, and Rylan is adjusting to being at home, although she keeps waking up to feed, which means Anne and Grandma are not getting too much sleep right now. Dad is sleeping in Foster's room, but once she heads off to sleep nothing usually wakes her until the morning. We just hope Rylan develops the same sleeping habits as her big sister.

Saturday 18th September 2004: Anne is feeling a lot better after her surgery - definitely a lot better than when she had Foster. Rylan is doing really well, feeding nicely, sleeping well and bodily functions are working!

Friday 17th September 2004: We headed off to the hospital for 5:45am, Anne's c-section was scheduled for 7am. Anne surprised her Mom by telling her that she could go into the OR as well as me, which she was over the moon about, since she missed out on that with Foster. All went well with the delivery - we were really surprised to find we had a girl, since all indications were that it was a boy, and although both of use didn't mind what we had, both of us secretly wanted a girl, so now Foster has a little sister to look after. Mom and baby are both doing well. Foster got to meet her little sister late afternoon and was really thrilled to be a big sister.
